Strong, steady, and commanding – introducing the “Gravis”

The Gravis is a robust one-handed sword inspired by the versatile weapons of the late 13th and early 14th centuries. Its Oakeshott Type XVI blade features a broader profile and gentler taper, giving it a more stable and authoritative character than narrower examples of the type.

With its wide base and stiff point, the blade delivers confident cuts while maintaining reliable thrusting performance. The moderated taper provides smooth control and strong blade presence in both cutting and point work.

Clean in design and purposeful in execution, the Gravis combines solid proportions with balanced handling. Stable and responsive, it is an excellent choice for those seeking a versatile arming sword with strong cutting authority and timeless presence.
