Our Short Feder is a compact longsword designed for traditions and fencing systems that call for a shorter blade — offering the same performance and customization options as our full-sized feders.
Based on a design by Eliisa Keskinen, this model is especially well-suited for practitioners of styles such as Fiore de’i Liberi’s Fior di Battaglia, where tighter mechanics, closer distance work, and precision are central. Its shorter blade improves maneuverability, control, and handling in confined spaces or during close-in exchanges, all while maintaining the trusted dynamics of a tournament-ready training sword.
Like our Custom Feders, the Short Feder is fully customizable — from crossguard and pommel to grip shape and finish — allowing you to tailor it to your personal fencing style and aesthetic. Whether you’re focused on historical interpretation or high-level training, the Short Feder is a refined and versatile companion built for precision and agility.
