Refined and prestigious – introducing our Type XVIIIb longsword, “Munich.”
Inspired by one of the most renowned Type XVIIIb swords (Inventory No. W 872.1) from the Bayerisches Nationalmuseum, this design reflects the elegance and efficiency of late medieval weaponry. A sword of strikingly similar proportions appears in Knight, Death, and the Devil (1513), one of Albrecht Dürer’s most iconic artworks.
Featuring a distinctive S-shaped crossguard for hand protection, a rectangular waisted grip for superior control, and a plain leather grip coating, Munich embodies both historical accuracy and masterful craftsmanship.
